Pontos Boats, the trading name of Pontos for Marine Industries (“we”, “us”), is a boat builder registered in Hurghada, Egypt, building its boats at Hefni Shipyard in Safaga. This page explains what we collect when you join our launch list on pontosboats.com, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your email address and your agreement to receive our emails, with the date you gave it.
• If you choose to tell us: your name, WhatsApp number, country, why you are interested, and the language you prefer.
• How you found us: the page or campaign link that brought you here (for example an Instagram post), and the country your connection comes from. We do not store your IP address.

Why we use it

• To send you the launch reveal, boat details and occasional Pontos news — only after you confirm your email.
• To reply if you contact us, and to understand which channels bring people to Pontos.

We use your details on the basis of your consent. We never sell them, and we do not use them for anything unrelated to Pontos Boats.

Who handles it

Our website runs on Cloudflare, which stores the sign-up list and protects the form from bots. Our emails are sent by Brevo. Both act only on our instructions and may process data outside Egypt under their own safeguards.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you. The bot check may use strictly necessary signals to tell people from robots.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you never confirm your email, we delete your details within 12 months.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. We follow Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020) and, for visitors in the European Union, the GDPR.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced by email before they apply.
